Q. Is it possible to open multiple retailer locations?
A. Once you have successfully opened and maintained your initial location we strongly encourage you to consider opening multiple T-Mobile retailer stores in mutually agreeable markets where T-Mobile is licensed and provides service. This gives you the flexibility to open a new store only when you feel it is right.
Q. Does T-Mobile offer direct financing?
A. T-Mobile may offer financial assistance to qualified retailers during start-up operations as well as for start-up inventory needs.
Q. Do I receive training from T-Mobile?
A. Yes. T-Mobile retailers complete our Retailer Orientation Program at our headquarters. Training also includes many Internet-based, self-paced product and sales courses. In addition, T-Mobile provides in-store training and ongoing on-site support.
Q. Do I receive assistance in opening my T-Mobile wireless store?
A. Yes. A team of specialists focused on real estate, store construction, merchandising and training will work closely with you every step of the way to provide continued support.
Q. What form of continuing operational guidance will I receive?
A. You will receive access to T-Mobile operational resources to help with day-to-day operations, as well as ongoing support from a T-Mobile account representative, guidance on all promotional materials, operational updates, and T-Mobile newsletters.
Q. What unique systems do you provide to help T-Mobile retailers manage their business?
A. A web-based activations and account management system is licensed to each T-Mobile retailer to perform activations and maintain customer information. You will also be given access to web-based inventory ordering systems and communication systems.
Q. Do I have to purchase all inventory from T-Mobile?
A. All phone inventory must be purchased directly from T-Mobile or otherwise approved by T-Mobile as detailed in your agreement. Accessories are often purchased from third party vendors.
Q. What about advertising?
A. Advertising is done on a local, regional, and national level. With T-Mobile at your side, you can conduct local advertising for your own stores. T-Mobile offers an advertising-oriented compensation structure, brand guidelines, and creative support to help you achieve a great local presence.
Q. How much can I expect to earn?
A. Your potential profit will depend on a number of factors, such as the location of your store, the amount of time you dedicate to your store, your level of business expertise, staffing needs, and market conditions. Naturally, as in any business venture, there is no guarantee of success and profitability. However, we help by providing a well-organized system and a refined concept, perfected through years of experience.
